Get Involved

If you have an interest in college health and wellness issues, there are a few ways you can get involved with the Office of ADHE. For more information or questions about the opportunities listed below, please contact Catherine Champagne.

Drug & Alcohol Resource Team (DART)

DART is a committee comprised of staff, faculty, and students whose mission is to educate the Denison community about alcohol and other drug use. As a member of DART, you will have a voice in the development of programs and campaigns designed to promote healthy social norms related to substance use.

Student representatives of DART will:
Provide student voice and perspective about issues of alcohol and other drug (AOD) use on campus
Assist the committee with the planning and implementation of programs, events, and/or promotions associated with AOD campaigns
Attend bi-weekly meetings

DART accepts applications on a yearly basis.
Check back in August for the 2012-2013 DART application.

Student Wellness Advisory Group (SWAG)

The Student Wellness Advisory Group provides feedback to Whisler staff about health and wellness issues on campus. Students in SWAG participate in organized dialogues about Whisler services (Health, Counseling, Alcohol, Drug, and Health Education), community wide wellness initiatives, new and existing programs, and emerging health issues. SWAG meets on the first Wednesday of each month from 5:30-6:30 with dinner provided.

2012-2013 Application Form can be completed online.
