Typical topics include relationships, family, campus climate, development of community, societal issues, and self-care, among others.  Specific times and location are announced at the beginning of each semester and based on the availability of students.  Please contact Stephanie Clouse for more info at clouses@denison.edu.

 Sister-Leaders in Dialogue

Sister-Leaders in Dialogue is a unique group experience that addresses those specific leadership issues and psychosocial stressors impacting women of color who are either currently in leadership positions or aspiring to be in such positions. The goal is to provide emotional and social support as well as leadership and personal development for all involved. Through meaningful, confidential discussion of relevant topics, the group fosters a bonding experience among peers and women mentors.  Sister-Leaders in Dialogue, co-facilitated by Drs. Toni King and Sonya Turner, is open to faculty, administrative staff and students.  Meetings occur every other week throughout the academic year. Participants are asked to adhere to a set of group norms and expectations that create a safe environment for discussion.
