We’re pleased to announce Huffman Dining Hall is currently undergoing a major renovation/remodeling. This is part of a larger effort to make significant improvements to the Denison student dining program. Many of the facility requirements are not obvious involving heating/cooling and ventilation, kitchen design, and layout changes that will permit the preparation of larger volumes of farm-fresh foods. Other changes will be more visible: moving food prep and cooking stations out into the dining room so diners will be able to see their food being prepared, made-to-order options, and generally making the dining room a more inviting space with greater variety in seating options. 

 

The scope of the renovation will require at least five months – more than we can accomplish during the summer months alone. By closing at Spring Break, we hope to have Huffman Dining Hall back in full operation by the start of the 2013-2014 academic year.
