The Office of Alcohol, Drug and Health Education Utilizes a Public Health Model of Prevention. To educating and empowering the Denison University community on health related issues such as alcohol abuse, HIV/AIDS awareness, sex education, eating disorders, aquaintance rape, exercise / nutrition and recreation. Through the implementation of sustained education and proactive prevention activities, the office of Alcohol, Drug and Health Education intends to empower the DU community to develop responsible:
- Habits,
- Attitudes and
- Lifestyles
regarding health and wellness and promote healthy choices as alternatives to the use of alcohol or drugs, creating a learning environment where students feel supported for their choices.
