Engineering Services

Engineering Services is responsible for maintaining and operating the following:

• Campus high and low voltage electrical systems
• Interior and exterior lighting systems
• Emergency power generators
• Fire and security alarm equipment
• Heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems
  
• Fume exhaust equipment
• Steam supply and distribution
  
• Preventive maintenance for mechanical and electrical equipment
• Sound systems support
  
• Heating Plant Operations
• Energy Management System and Programming 
• Elevators repair and maintenanace
  

Communicating Temperature Problems or Special Needs:

Temperature and ventilation problems or needs during normal working hours can be reported to the Physical Plant Office at 740-587-6264 or e-mailed to physplant@denison.edu. In an effort to conserve energy, some heating and air conditioning systems may be scheduled to be off at certain times during the day and after normal working hours. Should it become necessary to modify schedules to accommodate special needs or changes to schedules, please contact the Physical Plant Office at 740-587-6264 or email maysr@denison.edu or hvacr@denison.edu
