Financial Aid Calendar

January 1 through April 15	File the FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
March 15	Last Day to file the FAFSA for students wanting to take need-based aid abroad in the upcoming Fall Semester
April 15	Tax filing deadline. Is your FAFSA complete? Preliminary award notifications based on fall grades are emailed to students who have completed their financial aid file.
May	Final award notifications based on spring grades are emailed to returning students in late May after grades are final. Returning students can begin accepting Federal Direct Loans on Denison Self Service Prospective students should submit verification document(s) (if requested) and notify the Financial Aid Office of outside awards recieved.
June	First Year students can accept Federal Direct Loans electronically on Denison Self Service after June Orientation. First Year students should complete Entrance Counseling and Promissory Note for Federal Direct Loans If your parents wish to borrow the PLUS loan, have them contact our office.
July 1	Fall semester bills are mailed by the Student Accounts Office. If Financial Aid is missing from the bill, please contact the Financial Aid Office.
July 24	Fall semester bill due.
August	Continue to notify the Financial Aid Office of Outside Scholarships received. Contact the Financial Aid Office with any last minute financial aid concerns.
November 1	Spring semester bills are mailed by the Student Accounts Office.
November 21	Spring semester bill due.
