Student Employment Fact Sheet
If you do not receive a federal work-study award in your financial aid package, you may still work on campus. Your student employment will be paid from the non-federal work-study funds.
The federal government pays the federal earnings for students who have work-study awards. Non-federal work-study participants are paid by Denison.
The 2009-10 rate of pay for both federal work-study and non-federal work-study employees is $8.10 per hour.
The maximum work award for federal and non-federal work-study employees is 300 hours in an academic year. For 2009-10, the maximum work award is $2430.
Students are paid every two weeks by check or through direct deposit in to their personal checking or savings accounts. Students may also make arrangements with the Student Accounts Office to authorize their earnings to be applied to their Denison account.
How to find a job - You will need to search for a job on campus on the Job Postings link, located under Student Employment.
Note: Job Postings are not viewable from off-campus locations.
