Tentative Award Notification
Beginning in late March, tentative need-based financial aid award notifications will be mailed to all accepted prospective students from whom Denison has received FAFSA data.
Denison will continue to mail tentative financial aid award letters until May 1st. If a student files for aid after May 1, the financial aid file must be complete before a financial aid award will be made.
Applicants should carefully read the information sheet included with the tentative award notification. Details are given about each of the awards and how to finalize awards, if an applicant enrolls.
Types of need-based awards administered by Denison that may be on tentative award notifications:
- Federal Pell Grant
- Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
- Federal Perkins Loan
- Federal Work-Study
- Federal Direct Loans
- Ohio State Grants (Ohio residents)
- Denison Grant (need-based)
