Child Care

Provided at Denison

The Office of Human Resources is pleased to announce that child care for faculty and staff will be available for major convocation events held outside the normal work day that are expected to draw a large audience and therefore create a great need for child care for faculty and staff. Child care may also be made available for other important events at the college.

The Office of Human Resources worked closely with government officials at the State of Ohio to secure the necessary approval for Denison to offer limited child care using our staff without the need to comply with the state's certification requirements. This approval will make offering child care on campus for convocation and other events much easier to offer and manage.

Availability

If child care is made available at a convocation event, our office will send a message to the community asking for anyone who is interested in child care to contact our office. We will coordinate the child care arrangements along with a designated child care coordinator for the event. Again, we are pleased to offer this service to faculty and staff.
