10/18/07 - Transformational Leadership

Organizations are changing at an unprecedented rate.  Technological innovations, changing demographics and increased competition all demand that we focus on organizational effectiveness - less bureaucracy, flatter organizations, more teamwork, continuous improvement, and innovation.

Strong leadership is key.  More than any other single factor, the competence and character of an organization’s leaders will determine its ability to enjoy continued success in the 21st century.  This program will help participants:

12/13/07 - Coaching Skills For Managers

Managers today need to accomplish work through others; lead people through change and help people do their best work to reach their organization’s goals.  Coaching skills are essential for any manager who wants to enable people to perform well and commit to ongoing learning and development.  Building positive work relationships, creating a motivating environment, and having productive coaching conversations with staff all contribute to good morale and a high performing work unit.  This program will help managers:

 

 2/21/08 -  Team Building

Building an effective team in an organization requires a lot more than getting people together and assigning them a task.  This training program is designed for those managers/supervisors interested in developing more of a team-managed approach in the work group.  The program focuses on defining the job that needs to be done, the procedures involved in doing it, and managing the dynamics of the people who must do the job.  This will be a highly experiential session, which will engage participants in the team process.

4/10/08 – Change Management

Change is inevitable.  It is what helped create your present job, and it is what will continue to impact on and change your work environment.

In this program, participants will begin to understand and manage the increasingly rapid process of change.  Participants will learn to understand the change process, and how to plan, manage, initiate, and implement change.
