Locating a Network Provider
Aetna has a Website that enables you to identify network doctors, hospitals, and other medical facilities in your area. Here are simple instructions for finding a medical doctor or hospital to get you started.
Locating an Aetna Provider:
1. Go to www.aetna.com
2. Under the Tools section, click Find a Doctor.
3. If the Terms of Use page is displayed read the terms and click I accept.
4. Under General Search, complete the Geographic Information fields.
5. From the Provider Category drop-down list, if you’re looking for a:
- Doctor - select Medical Providers
- Hospital - select Hospitals / Institutes of Excellence™
- Labs or Clinics – select Facilities
6. From the Provider Type drop-down list, select the type of doctor or hospital for which you are looking.
7. From the Plan drop-down list, scroll to the list of Aetna Open Access® Plans and click Aetna Choice® POS II (Open Access). This is network for both Aetna medical plans.
8. Click Start Search. Your results are displayed.
