Hi, my name is Varuni, and I have lived in Lima, Peru my entire life, but I am Indian, and was born in the Canary Islands in Spain. I am a sophomore this year and an Economics major.

I speak fluent Spanish, English and French and took Portuguese my first year at Denison, which I really enjoyed (I am working on my Hindi too!). Because of my fascination with languages I love to travel and meet people from all over the world and learn about their cultures. I love to dance and listen to music; techno is definitely one of my favorites. Mint chocolate-chip ice cream is the best thing in the world and I am a huge fan of Bollywood.

I am super excited for this coming year at Denison!
