Several reports were heard:

Scott Siddall reported on the new student liaison program for academic departments. More information is available below at Instructional Technology.

Copyright issues were discussed; an ad hoc committee of Scottie Cochrane, Scott Siddall and Eric Evans was formed to create a one-to-two page flyer informing faculty of some key elements of current copyright practices.

The first "Teaching Matters" session will be held on November 30, and will focus on who the Denison student is, intellectually and technologically, and how we can help them meet our expectations.

Joe Fleming urged the Board to read several technology-related articles in the Chronicle of Higher Education.

Scottie Cochrane reported on new furniture for the Library, making the archives more accessible, and the concept of a 24 hour study room being created.
