Anderson Summer Research Assitantships & Bowen Summer Assistantships in the Sciences: Summer 2008
The Anderson Endowment Program and the Bowen Summer Scholarship Program provide Denison an opportunity to support student research in the sciences that is conducted under the guidance of a Denison science faculty member. The research experience occurs over a 10-week continuous period during the summer and includes conducting a research project under the guidance of the sponsor. Students are paid a stipend of $3,300, plus a room allowance for campus housing. Each student also has access to a small budget of $500 to cover supplies, software, equipment, and other items needed to perform the research.
Guidelines
- All science majors are eligible and preference is given to juniors and sophomores.
- All students will present a research poster during the Summer Science Symposium held in September 2008.
- No academic credit will be awarded for the summer experience.
