Students not meeting the required GPA will drop down to the award level that corresponds to their GPA. They will regain their original award upon bringing their GPA back up to the award level. (The "special category" scholarships, such as the Tyree and Parajon, will be governed by the same policy.)
Students will lose their award or drop down to another category only on the basis of an end-of-year calculation of grades. However, a student may regain or move back up on the basis of a mid-year calculation of grades.
GPA determinations are made by rounding off to the nearest tenth of a decile.
Students may not move up beyond the original award by virtue of raising their grade point average.
