Denison University announces a guest teaching position in ballet for the Fall 2008 semester. The position is half time. The successful candidate will have teaching responsibilities for three 2-credit hour sections:

Ballet I (for students new to dance), 4:30- 6:00 MW;

Ballet II (a beginning intermediate class for students with a wide range of ballet experience), 5:00-7:00 TR; and

Ballet III (an advanced intermediate class), 11:30-1:30 MWF.

Additional responsibilities include attending weekly Staff Meetings (9:00-11:00 F) and participating in the life of the department to the degree possible.  Our semester begins September 1, 2008 and is over after final exams not later than December 20, 2008.Preference will be given to candidates with graduate degrees and/or professional experience. Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree.  Please submit a letter of interest, a resume, and the names of three references who can speak to your teaching abilities to:
