Class of 2013 Arrives on Campus

The line of cars wound up College Hill, even before the official 8:30 a.m. start time. Members of the Class of 2013--many accompanied by friends and family--couldn't wait to see and get settled into their new homes away from home.
It was a hot one, with temperatures in the 80s, and most every car brimmed with clothes, computer equipment, TVs, and furniture. But a legion of student volunteers--from the football squad and other athletic teams to student staffers from campus and residential life--lugged items for the first-years and allowed them to get down to the real business of the day: meeting roommates and classmates, finding their way around campus, and taking care of important administrative items.
