The American Spiritual Ensemble at Denison

The American Spiritual Ensemble was created to preserve and promote the American Negro spiritual. Comprised of some of the finest singers in the United States, the ASE performs dynamic renditions of classic spirituals and Broadway numbers.

As part of the program, Daniel Murphy '10, and Romero Huffstead '08, presented the State of Ohio Martin Luther King Commision 2008 "Dream in Action" award to the students, faculty and staff of Denison.
