The most prestigious honor awarded to students in the graduating senior class at the convocation will be the President's Medal.

Two members of the faculty will also be recognized at the convocation when presented with either The Charles A. Brickman Teaching Excellence Award or The Charles A. and Nancy Brickman Distinguished Service Chair Award.

Speakers at the event will include: Provost David Anderson, who will offer opening remarks and present the Charles A. Brickman Teaching Excellence Award to a current faculty member; President Knobel, who will recognize National Scholars and the Distinguished Service Chair; Dean of Students Samuel Thios, presenting the Distinguished Leadership Award winners; Charles Sokolik, the president of Denison's chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, recognizing new members; and Marlene Tromp, associate professor and chair of the faculty, announcing the winners of the class of 2004 President's Medals.
