GRANVILLE, Ohio—Abraham Acosta, assistant professor of Latin American cultural studies at the University of Arizona, will offer a lecture, “Deadlocks of the US/Mexico Border: Bare Life, Ethnic Studies, and the Lessons of SB 1070,” at 4:30 p.m., on Wednesday, April 11, in the lecture hall of Denison University’s Burton D. Morgan Center (150 Ridge Road). The lecture, sponsored by the Foresman Fund, the Department of Modern Languages, and the Program in Latin American and Caribbean Studies, is free and open to the public.
