Air Force Chamber Band performs at Denison

GRANVILLE, Ohio—Denison University’s Department of Music presents the Air Force Band of Flight Chamber Players at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11, at the Burke Recital Hall (240 West College). The Air Force Band of Flight Chamber Players is a consortium of musicians from within the Band of Flight. The individuals combine in different ways to form a unique variety of ensembles ranging from solo winds with piano to mixed winds and strings. The members strive to showcase diverse and challenging pieces for their audiences.
 
The United States Air Force Band of Flight, based at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base is one of twelve bands in the Air Force.The band’s purpose is to support the global Air Force Mission in war and peace by fostering our national heritage and by providing professional musical products and services for official military, recruiting and community relations events.
