“Doing Math in Public”

GRANVILLE, Ohio—The Anderson Lecture Series presents Steven Strogatz, the Schurman Professor of Applied Mathematics at Cornell University, at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7, in the room 115 of Denison University’s Burton D. Strogatz is a highly cited scholar of mathematics. His popular online column in The New York Times, “The Elements of Math,” led to the publication of a book titled “The Joy of X – A Guided Tour of Math from One to Infinity.”
