Multi-media artist gives talk

GRANVILLE, Ohio—Multi-media artist Ann Hamilton, a distinguished professor of art at Ohio State University, will give an artist talk at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, in the auditorium of Denison University’s Herrick Hall (500 West Loop). The talk is free and open to the public, and it is sponsored by the Studio Art Program, Vail Visiting Artist Program, Department of Dance and the Provost’s Office. Among her many honors are the MacArthur Fellowship (Genius Award), Heinz Award, United States Artists Fellowship, National Endowment for the Arts Visual Arts Fellowship, Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation Award, Skowhegan Medal for Sculpture and the Guggenheim Memorial Fellowship. She has represented the United States in the 1991 Sao Paulo Biennial and the 1999 Venice Biennale.
