“Avenue Q” at Denison

GRANVILLE, Ohio—Denison University’s Singer’s Theatre Workshop will present the raucous musical comedy “Avenue Q,” under the direction of Belinda Andrews-Smith, at 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30, and at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, in the Burke Recital Hall (240 West College Street). “Avenue Q” debuted on Broadway in 2003 and won three Tony awards. The musical examines adult themes through the guise of human and puppet actors, reminiscent of “Sesame Street.”
