Iranian photographer exhibition and events at Denison

Award-winning photographer Jamshid Bayrami will present a series of events at Denison University. Bayrami is an artist, photojournalist and ethno-photographer who specializes in the heritage and culture of Iran. He has worked with Time, The Economist and National Geographic magazines. All events are free and open to the public.
- The opening reception for a photography exhibition, “Iran CloseUp,” will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, April 5, in the Welsh Hills Room of the Burton D. Morgan Center (150 Ridge Road).
- A lecture and photo presentation, “Iran: Ethnic Mosaic,” will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7, in Olin Science Hall, room 114 (100 Sunset Hill Drive).
- “Parrot’s Garden and Remembrance,” a video art presentation, will be screened at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 8, in the Cinema House room 104 (122 North Mulberry Street).
All events are sponsored by the Denison Department of Art, the Department of Cinema, the Denison Museum, the Office of the Provost and the Global Studies Seminars.
