Michael Collier

The Denison University Beck Lecture Series presents poet Michael Collier at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 17, in the board room of Barney-Davis Hall (200 West Loop). Collier will read from a selection of his poems. The event is free and open to the public.

Collier, a former poet laureate to Maryland, is professor of English at the University of Maryland. He is director of the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, the longest running writers’ conference in the country and serves also as poetry editorial consultant for Houghton Mifflin.
