Gretel Ehrlich reads from her work

Gretel Ehrlich

GRANVILLE, Ohio—Gretel Ehrlich, a non-fiction and poetry writer, will give a reading of her work as a part of the Beck Lecture Series. It takes place at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8, in the auditorium of Denison University’s Herrick Hall (500 West Loop). The reading, sponsored by the Beck Lecture Series, is free and open to the public. Ehrlich is the author of many books, including several of narrative essays, a novel, a memoir and books of poetry among others. She has also been the recipient of many awards, including the PEN Thoreau Award, a Bellagio Fellowship and a Guggenheim Fellowship. Her newest book, “In the Empire of Ice,” focuses on indigenous Arctic peoples in a changing climate.
