GRANVILLE, Ohio—Peter Grandbois, an assistant professor of English at Denison University, will read from his new novel, “nahoonkara,” at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30, in the Barney Davis Board Room (200 West Loop). Grandbois is the author of the novel “The Gravedigger,” a Barnes and Noble Discover Great New Writers selection, and the hybrid memoir “The Arsenic Lobster.” His recent novel “nahoonkara” is nominated for both the National Book Award and the Pulitzer Prize. His short stories have appeared in numerous journals and have been shortlisted for a Pushcart Prize.
