Beck Lecture Series Hosts Panel

The Denison University Beck Lecture Series will host a panel discussion featuring poet Katy Lederer and novelist Martha Moody at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30, in the Barney Davis Board Room (200 West Loop). The discussion will focus on combining a career in writing with other careers. Assistant Professor of English Margot Singer will moderate. The discussion is free and open to the public.
Before turning to poetry, Lederer worked as the vice president for a New York City hedge fund. Moody practiced internal medicine for 15 years before becoming a novelist. Singer, a former partner with the management consulting firm McKinsey & Company, is the Bosler Endowed Faculty Fellow at Denison University.
