Lecture by literature critic

GRANVILLE, Ohio—Literature critic Modhumita Roy will present a lecture, “Immaculate Conception: Globalisation and Artificial Reproductive Technologies,” at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, in the board room of Denison University’s Barney Davis building (200 West Loop). The lecture, sponsored by the Beck Lecture Series and the Laura C. Harris Symposium, is free and open to the public. Roy is a professor of English at Tufts University. Her areas of research include Anglophone literature of Africa and the Africa Diaspora, literature of South Asia, post-colonial theory, feminist theory and literary theory.
