Poet G.C. Waldrep at Denison

GRANVILLE, Ohio —Denison University welcomes poet G.C. Waldrep at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6, in the boardroom of Barney Davis (200 West Loop). This event, sponsored by the college’s Beck Lecture Series and Spectrum Series, is free and open to the public. Waldrep’s latest collections are “Archicembalo,” winner of the Dorset Prize, and “Your Father on the Train of Ghosts,” a collaboration with the poet John Gallaher. He was a 2007 National Endowment for the Arts Fellow in Literature and received a 2008 Gertrude Stein Award for Innovative American Poetry. Waldrep teaches at Bucknell University, edits the journal West Branch and serves as editor-at-large for The Kenyon Review.
