Denison University, the Licking County Family YMCA and Licking Memorial Health Systems are cosponsoring a Health and Fitness Fest from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, at the Licking County Family YMCA’s Mitchell Center, located at 470 West Church Street, Newark. Admission and all activities are free and open to the public.

The Health and Fitness Fest will feature a wide range of physical, mental and social health learning opportunities for all ages. Attendees may visit with health care professionals and community group representatives concerning a variety of topics. In addition, a 25-minute CPR certification, an American Red Cross blood drive and interactive fitness demonstrations will be offered.
