Denison Biological Reserve Offers ‘Bird Walk’

Nature lovers, especially “birders,” will enjoy a Bird Walk through the Denison University Biological Reserve with manager Whitney Stocker at 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 30. The Reserve is located at 1760 North Street, just north of Granville on State Route 661.

The emphasis will be on identifying by song the more than 50 species of birds that nest in the 350-acre Reserve. Participants should bring binoculars and be prepared to walk in wet grass. The event is free and open to the public. It will be cancelled if it’s raining or very windy. For more information, call 740-587-6359 or e-mail stocker@denison.edu
