Denison’s Annual Bluegrass Festival welcomes Alison Brown, Joe Mullins and the Radio Ramblers, and John Carlini

Denison University’s 7th Annual Bluegrass Festival will welcome three top performers and offer a weekend of opportunity to experience bluegrass at its finest. Feature concerts will showcase Alison Brown and friends at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 11, and Joe Mullins and the Radio Ramblers, and John Carlini at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12, both in Swasey Chapel (200 Chapel Drive). The full line-up for the festival includes the following:
• Master class with Alison Brown at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 11, in the Burke Hall Recital Room (240 West Broadway).

Alison Brown discussion on Independent Record Labels and the Digital
Age at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 11, in the Burton D. Morgan Center
Lecture Hall (150 Ridge Road).
• Concert with Alison Brown and friends at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 11, in Swasey Chapel (200 Chapel Drive).
• Bluegrass Festival workshops from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12, in the Burke Hall Recital Room (240 West Broadway).

Concert with Joe Mullins and the Radio Ramblers, and John Carlini, at
7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12, in Swasey Chapel (200 Chapel Drive).
The Bluegrass Festival is directed by Andy Carlson and Casey Cook, members of the music department faculty at Denison, and is sponsored by the Department of Music, the Burton D. Morgan Program in Entrepreneurship and Liberals Arts, and the Spectrum Series. All events are free and to the public.
