GRANVILLE, Ohio—We’ve all heard the truism, “you are what you eat.” Denison’s edible book festival has its own twist on that, “you read what you eat.” Books to Eat, the annual international celebration of books in which participants create edible objects inspired by literary works, takes place from 2:30 to 4 p.m. on Monday, April 1, in the atrium of Denison University’s William Howard Doane Library (400 West Loop). The community is invited to enter edible creations that represent a favorite book. Chosen titles may be from any genre but must be tasteful (pun intended). Entries will be accepted starting at 2 p.m.; winners will be announced at 3:15 p.m. Afterward, all creations will be promptly consumed. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Moriana Garcia at 740-587-5714 or visit www.denison.edu.
