Books To Eat Festival

Feast your eyes on edible literary creations and devour bookish treats at William Howard Doane Library’s eighth annual Books to Eat Festival beginning at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 1, in the atrium of Denison University’s Doane Library (400 West Loop). The community is invited to enter edible creations that represent a favorite book. Chosen titles may be from any genre but must be tasteful (pun intended). Entries will be judged and promptly consumed. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Susan Rice at 740-587-6431 or visit www.denison.edu.

Entries will be judged in the following categories: Most Creative, Best Presentation, Most Bookish, Best of Show and Most Hilarious. Entries must be completely edible; plan to bring disposable serving utensils for your entry. Entries will be accepted starting at 2 p.m. After the judging, all attendees are invited to join in a high tea and to help eat the displays.
