Denison Art Collective presents the 2010 Bowl-A-Thon for charity

The Denison University Art Collective’s 2010 Bowl-A-Thon will take place from 5 p.m., Friday, Oct. 22, to 5 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 13, in the Bryant Arts Center located on the college’s Fine Arts Quad (210 West College St.).
Students, faculty, staff and community youth and adults are encouraged to come and create non-stop art for up to 12 hours.
The bowls will be created in the Bryant ceramic studio. They will be glazed and fired in kilns, then later this fall, filled with soup and sold at a benefit to raise funds for the Licking County Food Pantry.
The Bowl-A-Thon is organized and sponsored by the Denison University Art Collective and the Department of Studio Art. The Art Collective is a campus organization created to bring awareness of the arts to the community and to provide individuals with the opportunity to express themselves creatively in artistic settings.
