Date of Event: November 7, 2003

Posted: October 29, 2003

On Friday (Nov. 7) between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in Slayter Union, Denison will host more than 75 employers and graduate/ professional school representatives at the 11th annual Career and Graduate/Professional School Day.

Attending a career fair is one of the easiest ways for students to collect career and employer information, as well as graduate school and law school applications and literature, according to Career Services Director Pam Allen. First-year students and sophomores are encouraged to ask questions about internships and summer employment opportunities. Juniors and seniors can talk with representatives from both profit and non-profit organizations about career paths, employment opportunities and graduate school options.

Represented will be such employers as ACNielsen BASES, Cintas, COSI, Eli Lilly, National City, Prentice Hall Publishing, State Farm, Peace Corps and Unum Provident. Many law schools will be represented including Case Western Reserve, Seton Hall, University of Michigan, William and Mary, Ohio State University, Tulane, University of Minnesota, University of Cincinnati and University of Pittsburgh. There also will be representatives from Catholic University, Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs, Northwestern Medill School of Journalism, Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, Washington University School of Social Work and Case Western Reserve University Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations.
