Denison Chamber Singers and Women's Choir Fall Concert

The Denison University Chamber Singers and Women's Choir will perform a fall concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 11, at the First Presbyterian Church of Granville (110 West Broadway). Conductor of the groups is Bonnie Borshay Sneed, associate professor of music and director of choral activities at Denison. Accompanist for the concert will be Steve Trumball. Music for the Chamber Singers includes compositions by Palestrina and Monteverdi as well as spirituals and the PDQ Bach "FourHearts."

The Women's Choir will join with the Chamber Singers' women for the Holst "Ave Maria" as well as the "Hodie" of William Mathias. The men of the Chamber Singers also will be featured. The Women's Choir will perform their own selections from a variety of composers and periods. The concert is free and open to the public.
