Pompeii brought to life

GRANVILLE, Ohio—A lecture, titled “Pompeii: Reading Life in a Roman City,” will take place at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, in room 216 of Denison University’s Fellows Hall (300 West Loop). Denison University’s Department of Classics and Office of the Provost are sponsoring the lecture by Allison Cartmell Emmerson, a member of the Denison class of 2004. Emmerson is currently a doctoral candidate in classics and archaeology at the University of Cincinnati. The talk is free and open to the public.
