Denison Concert Choir Performs Christmas Selections

The Denison Concert Choir will be performing seasonal favorites on Friday, Dec. 7, at 7:30 p.m. in Swasey Chapel (200 Chapel Drive). Music to be performed includes selections such as "Deck the Halls' and "Wexford Carol" with senior flautist Sarah Plunkett, and "In Dulci Jubilo," featuring members of the Denison Chamber Singers.
Guest organist Chad Baker will join the choir for several pieces including "Estonian Prayer" and Daniel Pinkham's "Christmas Cantata." Special guest soloist will be soprano Stephanie Henkle, affiliate instructor of voice at Denison. Conducted by Bonnie Borshay Sneed and accompanied by Judy Rauch, the concert will conclude with Craig Courtney's "A Musicological Journey through the Twelve Days of Christmas." The concert is free and open to the public.
