Bonnie Borshay Sneed is founder and director of the Denison University Women's Choir.
The Denison University Women's Choir will be performing at the 2007 Summer Conference of the Ohio Choral Directors Association (OCDA). The choir, under the direction of Denison Associate Professor of Music Bonnie Borshay Sneed, will perform at 5 p.m. on Tuesday (June 19) on the campus of Otterbein College in Westerville. Pianist and Denison Studio Instructor Kristen Grimshaw will be accompanying the choir on pieces by Pablo Casals, Francis Poulenc, Aaron Copland and others. Special percussion soloist is Jeremy Grimshaw, assistant professor of music at Denison.
The Denison Women's Choir was founded by Sneed during her first year at Denison in 2005. It has performed in several locations in the Village of Granville, which is home to the university, and this year's appearance at the OCDA conference is the first such performance by a Denison choir.
The performance will take place in Riley Auditorium of the Battelle Fine Arts Center on the Otterbein campus. Please contact Bonnie Sneed at sneedb@denison.edu for more information.
