The Great River Film Festival at Denison University will bring a series of short films as well as feature-length films to the Denison campus and community, beginning with a screening of “I Sell the Dead” at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 3. At 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, selected short films will be viewed, and the festival will conclude with a screening of “Firefly” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday evening. All films will be screened at Slayter Hall Auditorium (200 Ridge Road). The festival is free and open to the public.

Brian Crush, a member of the Denison class of 2009, created the Great River Film Festival as an adjunct to the Denison Film Society. He notes, “With so many incredible yet overlooked shorts and features being created every year, this seemed like the best way to get students and the community together to screen entertaining and enlightening films.
