Film and dialogue examine violence and masculinity

A screening of the film “Tough Guise: Violence, Media & the Crisis in Masculinity” will take place at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 4, in the auditorium of Denison University’s Herrick Hall (500 West Loop). The screening will be followed by a discussion; both are free and open to the public.
“Tough Guise” examines the relationship between pop-culture imagery and the social construction of masculine identities at the dawn of the 21st century. The film is sponsored by Denison’s Office of Multicultural Student Affairs and the student organization, Sustained Dialogue.
