Activist Daniel J. Flynn to Speak at Denison

Commentator and activist Daniel J. Flynn, author ofWhy the Left Hates America: Exposing the Lies That Have Obscured Our Nation's Greatness, will be presenting on Monday (Nov. 18) at 7:30 p.m. in Denison University's Herrick Hall. The event, sponsored by the Denison College Republicans, with the support of the Denison Lecture Series and the Young America's Foundation, will be free and open to the public.

Flynn is expected to address the Left's contempt for Western culture and argue that Americans have every reason to be proud of their nation and their heritage. Discussed in the book is how America's true legacy has enriched the world politically, culturally, and economically, as well as in a myriad of other ways.

Flynn is a former campus activist and program officer with Young America's Foundation. He has been removed from lecture halls on college campuses because of his beliefs. His past writings have been subject to public book burnings. Flynn currently serves as executive director of Accuracy in Academia, a nonprofit public-service organization in Washington, D.C. His articles have appeared in theBoston Globeand onNational Review Online, among other publications. He has also appeared on Fox News, C-SPAN, Court TV and other television and radio programs nationwide.
