One of the largest college-level “ultimate frisbee” tournaments in the state of Ohio is coming to Granville again this year. On Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 2 and 3, more than 400 students from Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, New York, Indiana and Pennsylvania will gather at the Bryn Du Mansion (537 Jones Road) for the Ultimate Extravaganza V Tournament. Times of the competition are from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

According to Ryan Fraser, a Denison student, 24 men’s teams and 10 to 12 women’s teams are expected to compete. Four teams made up of Denison University students and graduates are scheduled to be part of the competition, including two men’s teams, a women’s team, and an alumni team.
