Balinese Gamelon Ensemble to perform at Denison

The Denison University Balinese Gamelon Ensemble will perform at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 7, at the Herrick Hall Auditorium (500 West Loop). The concert, directed by Seth Rogers, is free and open to the public.

Denison’s Gamelon Ensemble’s musicians include Denison students, faculty, and members of the Granville community. Their instruments of choice are traditional Balinese instruments, including metallophones (metal xylophone-like instruments) of various sizes, gongs and tuned bamboo angklung rattles.
