Spoken word performance to conclude “Day of Silence”

GRANVILLE, Ohio—Andrea Gibson, a spoken word artist, will perform at the end of the national “Day of Silence” at 8 p.m. on Friday, April 19, in the auditorium of Denison University’s Herrick Hall (500 West Loop). The performance is free and open to the public and is sponsored by Outlook, an organization that is committed to educating the campus about GLBTQA issues and offering support to those who need it. The National Day of Silence is a day of action in which students across the country take a form of silence to call attention to the silencing effect of anti-LGBT bullying and harassment in schools.
