Lecture explores connection between music and global politics

GRANVILLE, Ohio—Denison University Orchestra Director Damien Mahiet will give a lecture on the role of music in international relations, “Harmony’s International Sorrows: How Music Can Make Matters Worse, and Why Musicians Can Still Contribute to Peace-making,” at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 10, in the Shepardson College Room located on the fourth floor of Slayter Hall (200 North Ridge Road).
