Gallery opening features curator Miguel González

GRANVILLE, Ohio— Miguel González is a well-known Colombian art critic and curator of the Museo La Tertulia in Cali, Colombia. Denison University will host González at a gallery opening and curator talk for his work at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 8, in the Mulberry Gallery (202 North Mulberry Street). The reception and curator talk are co-sponsored by the Spectrum Series, Vail Artist Series, Mulberry Gallery, Latin American and Caribbean Studies Concentration, and the Department of Studio Art. González’s publications include “Colombia, visiones y miradas” and “Francois Dolmetsch.” He has received several awards for his work as assistant director in films such as “Carne de tu carne” and “El dia que me quieras.” González has worked with film directors Werner Herzog on “Cobra verde” and Franceso Rossi on “Chronicle of a Death Foretold.”
